Key Poker Phrases Version 5
Sometimes it seems like articles pertaining to flash Texas Holdem sites are in a foreign language, so I will continue with poker definitions today. Every now and then I come across a term that even I didn’t know!
I am going to define “Mexican Bankroll”, a bunch of $1 bills sandwiched between two $100 bills. Knowing this will not help you beat the games on Tiger Gaming, but it was the M term that stood out the most for me!
Let’s define the “nuts” for the next term. If you are playing cash games on Ultimate Bet for Mac and you have the nuts, it means that you have the best hand possible. You should always remember that the nuts on one street might not be the nuts on the next. For instance, QQ is the nuts on a Q45 flop, but if the turn is a 6, it is no longer the nuts.
If you used free poker training when you first learned the game, you probably learned that you want to avoid being “outkicked” when showing down a hand. It is important to strive for the highest kicker possible because the kicker is the tie breaker if two players have the same pair. If you have KQ and the board reads Q72A8, you have a pair of queens with a king kicker.
The last term I will define today is “polarized range”. If you are playing with a Full Tilt referral code and someone states that they think your range is polarized, they are saying that your hand is either very strong or incredibly weak.
I recently tried Bingo codes and spent a few hours with Bingo cards, but all I proved to myself was that poker is by far a superior game. If you have yet to give poker a try, you are definitely missing out! My earlier articles should help you get started, and then be sure to check back in a month for another key terms update.

Common Poker Terms 4
Hello and thanks for coming by. I am about to define more terms that should help you to beat the games on Mac poker sites. I have to say that I am really liking this alphabetical theme a lot. If nothing else it prevents me from sitting here for minutes on end trying to decide between all the poker terms in the dictionary.
The first term I will define is ICM, which stands for Independent Chip Model. If you enjoy sit & gos on a Lucky Ace Poker download, it is mandatory that you know ICM. It assigns a cash value to your chips when there are less than 10 players remaining in a tournament.
It’s pretty slim pickings for the letter J, so let’s just quickly look at “jam”. If you have some free poker training and the instructor recommends that you jam, he is saying to go all-in. It is interchangeable with the terms “shove” and “push”.
The next word I will mention is “kill”. If you decide to play poker at your B&M instead of clearing your Bingo codes, one of your options will probably be a kill game. When someone wins two pots in a row, they are required to pay an extra blind the next hand. A full kill is twice the size of the big blind while a half kill is 1.5 times the big blind. Those that shy away from aggro tables in online poker rooms might enjoy kill tables because they can slow aggressive players down a bit.
When someone makes a move “light”, they are doing it with a hand that is usually second best. Imagine that you are using your Everest Poker download and you have T3 in the small blind. A person with a high steal percentage raises on the button, and you decide to reraise because you assume he is weak a large percentage of the time. He is probably raising light in his position, and you are 3-betting light from the blinds. You will find these situations on a regular basis on poker sites.
We have gone through another four terms just now, so that is it for today. In a few weeks I will start with the letter M and I plan to have plenty of great examples ready to go. This gives you plenty of time to practice your game. If you are looking for a reliable site, Full Tilt is a good bet. Full Tilt Poker已经成为最专业的网络扑克平台,赶快到我们的Full Tilt Poker下载页面下载游戏大厅,体验便捷的操作和赚钱的乐趣吧!

Common Poker Terms 3
This article will go on with poker phrases you might want to know when you play Mac poker. Last time I left off at the letter E.
Whether you prefer tourneys or cash games on your Bwin Poker download, it would be wise to learn about “effective stacks”. When two players are in a pot, the maximum either of them can bet is the total in the shortest stack (the effective stack). If Mike has 1,400 chips and Anna has 5,000, the effective stack is 1,400.
For the letter F I chose the term “flip”, an idea you might encounter while playing with friends on Tiger Gaming. Basically the players involved in a flip agree to go all-in preflop with whichever cards are dealt to them. The term flip also has another definition: a “coin flip” is when you have 50/50 odds in a hand. For example, if you participate in a Sit&Go on your Everest Poker download and you get it all-in preflop with QQ vs AK, this is referred to as a flip because your equity in the hand is around 50%.
I picked “gutshot” as my G phrase. When you are drawing to a straight with 4 outs, it is known as a gutshot straight draw. For example, say you chose to play some hands rather than watch poker videos, and you get dealt 78 preflop. You call a raise and the flop comes 59K. You have a gutshot because you need a certain card to make a straight (four outs). If you ever hear about an “inside straight draw”, it is the same thing.
“Hero fold” is my H phrase. When you make you a hero fold, you are making a difficult fold with a relatively strong hand. Imagine that you are in a cash game on your Titanpoker download and you are against a passive player that never raises. You peel 45 and get a 678 flop, but instead of just calling your bet, your passive opponent raises. Laying this hand down to one raise is definitely a case of a hero fold. It may seem nitty, but unlike Internet slots, poker is a thinking game and sometimes big laydowns are necessary.
I’m going to stop there, but I will start off with the letter "I" when I update this blog next month. Between now and then, hopefully you play a ton of hands. Give PokerStars a try if you have not already done so. La adrenalina al estar en una mano, la seriedad de tu oponente. Se mueven las fichas al centro, y tú llamas. ¡Ganaste! Descargar PokerStars te llevará al mundo del póquer, el mejor póquer a cualquier hora.

More Terms to Learn
Around a month ago I wrote about some common poker terms that you should know when you are working towards beating the Mac poker games. For the next few months, I would like to go over a few new poker dictionary entries. To entertain myself, I will go in alphabetical order and choose one term per letter. Let’s go!I hope you are as excited as I am ;)
For the beginning of the alphabet, I will explain the meaning of “ante”. You will want to know about this word for sure if you play tournaments on a Full Tilt download. If there is an ante present, all players must pay a predetermined amount before the cards are dealt. The amount of an ante varies, but it is usually around 1/10 of the big blind.
If you have already played a bunch of poker hands, you will probably already know what a “bluff” is. When someone bluffs, they are representing a stronger hand than the one they actually hold in order to make better hands fold. To see some very brave bluffs in action, I encourage you to watch a few high stakes poker hands on US friendly poker sites.
For C, my favorite letter, I will define “chip dumping”, an offense that the best US poker sites all take very seriously. Chip dumping means to lose chips to another player purposely. This can occur when two people are colluding in a tournament or cash game, and it can even be a way to launder money for those into illegal activities. This is why money poker sites always have a security team watching for suspicious activity on the tables.
When reading articles on beating Daniels Room poker, you will probably read about “dirty outs” every so often. A dirty out is a card that will improve your hand while giving someone else an even better hand at the same time. For example, imagine you are playing cash games on a Bwin Poker download and you have a straight draw on a flop with 2 hearts. If you turn your straight with a card that is a heart, this could be a dirty out since someone may have also made a flush.
I am going to stop here, but I will be back to continue on in a month. In the meantime, perhaps learn about PokerStars rakeback. See you next month!

Common Poker Terms
In a previous entry I discussed poker tools that are able to help improve your game as you strive to become a good player on Mac poker sites. The first tool I suggested was the online poker dictionary, and I explained that it’ll be challenging to read advanced strategies if you don’t know the most important poker terminology. However, the one problem with a poker dictionary is that you’ll see so many words that you’ll wonder where to begin! Because of this, I am going to mention a few of the poker terms that I deem most important for someone learning on an Everest Poker download (or whatever site you decide to play on). Learn these terms first as they’re common and most likely to pop up when you start reading poker literature.
Actually the most important terms were already mentioned in earlier entries, so visit my previous articles to remind yourself of them. ”Bankroll management” and “variance” are, without a doubt, some of the most important terms in poker. When you’re learning to play on your poker flash website, you might endure a lengthy downswing. You need a suitable bankroll just in case the worst happens.
It would be good to next learn about the “rake”. The rake is the amount taken from every pot or prize pool by whomever is hosting your poker game. So for example, if you use a Full Tilt Poker download and play some no-limit hold em, each pot will end up around 5% less because Full Tilt will collect it as their payment. Each site or casino has their own rake percentage, and there is a maximum amount that will be taken for each pot.
Another term to know about is “position”. We’ve already talked about the strength of your starting hands in the poker hands order entry, but we didn’t mention the importance of position. The person last to act post flop in every pot has the best position, and good position is as important for winning pots as the strength of your cards. You should be more willing to play hands in position and less willing to play hands out of position. When you play Internet slots, you don’t have to pay attention to where other people are playing. It’s a different situation when you are playing poker versus other people, however.
You should look for the term “outs” in a suitable online poker dictionary before visiting any flash Texas Holdem site. If you’re playing in a pot and you feel you don’t have the best hand, you should take note of the cards that could come on later streets that likely would improve your cards to the winner. These cards are what you call your “outs”.
Learn about “fold equity”. When you’re trying to win a pot, you need to take into account that there is a chance your opponent will fold if you bet. This is called fold equity, and it is very useful in poker because it’s a way to win pots without necessarily having the best hand. If you ever watch high stakes being played on a PokerStars download, you’ll learn that the most profitable players make use of this idea very often.
When reading online poker articles, you’ll probably come across the term “nit”. A nit describes a player that plays a very limited number of hands and is afraid to gamble without the best of it. He is unlikely to invest a lot of money in a hand where he is unlikely to be ahead.
For the final bit of free poker training in this article, I’ll tell you about the term “all-in”. Common in tournament poker, going all-in means that you are betting everything in your stack and in order to call, your opponents must go all-in themselves or put an amount equal to your stack in the pot. If you receive a call and lose the showdown, you are often bust and you must re-buy (if the game permits it) or stop playing.
When I am back next time, I will go through the dictionary and choose more terms to look at. In the meantime, study these terms carefully and see if you can find some strategy articles that use them. Be sure to come back in a couple weeks for my next article.
