  • Poker Training Sites: Poker Pwnage

So far I’ve mentioned two training sites that concentrate on ring games, so this time I’m going to feature a site that creates poker videos for tournaments. Poker Pwnage is one of the newer training sites on the market, and they came with one intention: to make poker videos for tournament players. You’ll pay a $35 activation and then around $25 per month for a membership. This is more than at GrinderSchool but less than at Cardrunners.

If you keep having to redeposit due to tournament losses on your Virgin Poker download, you might want to seriously consider a Poker Pwnage membership. They’ve released 300+ online poker videos, and they were produced by a few of the world’s most skillfull multi-table tournament poker players. If you’re a fan of the World Series, you’ll already know that two of their pros have already made final tables this year. Adrian “Chardrian” Dresel-Velasquez cashed for $43,000 in a Limit event and David “GhettoFabolous” Randall cashed for $270,000 in a No Limit event.

If you prefer Sit-N-Go’s over MTT poker, you should also be happy with Poker Pwnage. There are videos for buy-ins from $10 to over $100, and you can find 6 max and heads-up games if you don’t like full ring. It’s possible to learn the basics, but it’s possible to also find some advanced tactics. Even if you’ve been playing since the Moneymaker boom, you’ll still learn a few things from these videos.

If you’re looking for some cash game instruction, this is definitely the wrong site for you. They have a mere 5 cash game videos as of today, and we might be waiting a while before the next one. If you’re mostly a Stud player on a Full Tilt Poker download, you shouldn’t bother with this site, either. You’ll find only Hold Em, and I doubt we’ll see much else for a while.

It’s a refreshing change to come across a site that focuses on tournament play, so most people won’t criticize their lack of cash strategy. When you stream the videos, you can be certain that the guidance you will get is capable of turning you into a winning player. After you watch some of the videos, I hope that you don’t be required to make an additional poker deposit on Tiger Gaming for the rest of your poker career!
